This is a 20 inch "shorty" telescopic antenna for aviation band radios with BNC mounting such as the Icom A5, A6, A23, A24, A14 as well as Yaesu, Sporty's, etc. It reaches out almost as far as our 45 inch version of the same antenna.
Collapsed length is 6 inches so it stores away easily.
Works for VHF frequencies 118.00-136.975 on radios pushing less than 10 watts. Most every handheld radio is a max of 5 watts
The center of the frequency matching is 125.00 with an SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) of 1:1.5. It can be used throughout the entire civil aviation frequency band.
Great for handheld radios and gives exceptional performance well above the standard issue “rubber ducky“ or flexible antenna.
