ICOM IC-A24 Handheld Air Band Radio with VOR/LOC receiver (displays radial and bearing TO/FROM VOR, as well as localizer for non-precision approaches).
Very useful as emergency backup in case your aircraft radios fail or for talking to tower while on the ground (get ATIS before Hobbs starts running). I've used it mostly for ear training listening to actual ATC chatter.
Works OK, as far as I can test, you can hear aircraft and control tower, see the video link with actual test. No further testing was
done, so it's sold as-is.

Bought it for my flight training but I don't fly much, so I just don't need it. Comes with
rechargeable battery and desktop charger, as shown.
