I thoroughly tested this unit and it works and looks

The manual is available in PDF format on-line
I tested the rechargeable battery and after charging shows four bars (full) on the radio display!
Transmits & Receives all the standard VHF Marine frequencies.
It also receives the NOAA weather channels.
It has three power settings high 5 watts Medium 1 watt and low 0.5 watt.
No license is required as long as you are on the water.
The small
handheld design makes it great for personal watercraft!
